Hello, I am new to the PSP, and I have this LOST file season 2 episode 1. It was in WMV format so I converted it to MP4 using ImTOO MPEG converter, than when I put it into my PSP, into th eMP_Root (Outside the psp folder) in to the 100MNV01 and rename it to that mumbo jumbo thing, when I go to the video's, it say's, UNSUPPORTED FORMAT... wtf?? am I doing anything wrong here

well i don't know about ImTOO but i use video9.
one of the things that i can think of is that you eighther put the video in the wrong place.
then again it sounds like you have it under control.
then the MP_ROOT folder must have two separate folders.
How large is the MP4 that you got?

Rite its MP_ROOT not eMP_ROOT if the bitrate of the film is higher than 784kbps the psp wont play it.
Unsupported Format...what is the file name of ur vid? Before u renamed it...

Are you sure its bitrate?
I encoded in 1500 every single time. I thought thats why i bought the 2gb so i could have high quality. Ive never had unsupported formats.
BTW why are you watching season2 - 1, get episode 2-14 "one of them" excellent episode.

I feel sudds is right, every time i cant get a video to work its because of the bit rate.

Ok ive converted it and it plays fine, i cant seem to find anywhere where it shows me kbps
in the menu i press info and it tells me
Title Lost 2-14
Updated current time date
Size 252mb
Length 43'52
I noticed during convering process the Kbps was not actually 1500 kbps it fluctuated from 900 to 1500kbps average arnd 1200
