Trouble with my USB cable

I'm really going crazy right now. When i plug the USB cable into my PSP and into my computer, then go to USB connection on my PSP nothing happens. When i go to my computer there is nothing that says "Removeable Disc". I got the right size USB cable. I'm asking nice, please help me fix this so i can get music onto my PSP.

When youve plugged in the USB cable andthen go to USB connection what does it say on your psp? does it say "USB connection"
or does it say "Connect a USB cable?

i'm not sure but it might be the cable. My cable is from "JoyTech". i don't know if it's a good cable or not.

Try everything else first, that doesnt require you to spend money, and if you have other cables like mp3 players or digi cameras they use the same cable usually.
It could be a windows problem but hardly ever. Try on another comp if possible.

I don't know if this is the problem, but a while ago i tried to connect with the USB cable but my computer didn't recognize it. A month or two later my sister got an IPOD. She installed a program called "iTunes" so she can get music on her iPod. Then when i tried the USB cable nothing happened. I don't know if it's the program or what.

its nothing to do with itunes i have it installed on my system.

just buy a new cable or use a digicam one if you have one

there not dear aroun £2-3 $4-5 ish or cheaper
