YOU GUYS Rock!!!

Hey, lm from the corruption capital of the world-South Africa (I don?t live in a treehouse, and yes we also have mc?ds?)
Anyway, because the games are so insanely expensive here (bout 500Rand, $100) I went out and chipped my console?
I just want to say BIG UP to all u guys posting stuff, without u guys I would have been lost. I cant even tell u guys all the C.R.A.P ive heard from different people in SA on ?how 2 copy Ps2 games? the one guy I went to even insisted that he can play gt4 on his ps1 after copying the game with his ?secret way?. Mmmm?
Anyways theres still a couple of ?areas? that I have some questions and I would really ?waardeur? it (don?t know the english word) if you guys can help me:

1. does it make any difference what type of dvd writer you use? this one guy I went to for help told me that only pioneer dvd writers will copy games over 4gb. I have a benQ liteon 16xdual writer, I haven?t tried to copy any games over 4gb yet, but every game ive tried to copy so far worked 100%.
2. which is better for ps2 games +r or ?r?
3. where can I find games on the www? broadband here is still as expensive as gold compared to UK & US (there is only one land line phone company, and they charge whatever they want) but I recently got it, and I was wondering if it is possible to download them and write them to disk?

Thanks guys
Sorry for the bad English

Ok lose the email address or you'll get all the spam on the planet
1 Your burner is fine
2 use high quality media verbatim or taiyo's - or + is highly debated experiment what suits you best if your using dvd+r's booktyping is recommended
3 torrent are the way to go I find isohunt a good search engine wander over to the p2p forum and check that out

yes, BenQ are good burners
The media you use is very important, good quality only. And Verbatims should work fine.
as far as where on the www to get them, search the word torrent
we can not link you to sites, it is against the rules
but if you are not on broadband(cable or DSL) and are still using dial up the amount of time it takes will be quite large.
I would say most games would take you several days to download.
It is like 8-12hrs with most broadband modems.
