Hi can anyone tell me what the GAME folder on the psp memory stick is for, it is in the same folder as music and photo, but I thought you couldnt play game from a memory card cuz I have version 2.5. can anyone help me answer this question?

ok...I read this forum and I dont see what that has to do with telling me what the GAMES folder is used for.....I read in the psp manual that it was for doing a system update with data from the memory card (as opposed to from a umd)...can anyone confirm this? is it used for anything else? some one on another forum said is was used for "saving 'saved' games"?? does anyone know what this means and is it true??? anyone have any info?

Your not serious man....he just give u a link that tells you what u can do!
In ur GAME folder u can put EMULATORS that allow u to play GAMES such as SUPER NINTENDO, SEGA MEGADRIVE, C64, ATARI ST, GAMEBOY/COLOUR, GBA........will i go on, has the penny dropped yet? :D

I read someone it will eventually be for demos or something. Maybe Sony never got around to it or simply they just don't care about psp owners.

I mentioned this in another thread, its stores the update info but they could release small arcade games for a small fee, the same way xbox360 has downloadable mini games.

and bully it did, according to wikipedia the psp since its release has sold more than ds in the same time span, although ds says they arent in competition because they appeal to different demographs
