Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie at this so i was wondering if anybody had any guides or know of any place where i can get some guides on how to copy dvd's. Any help would be appriciated

if you have a single layer disc its really easy- you can make a one to one copy by using dvd decryptor (free). You just go mode>iso>read and click the bottom button showing the dvd drive and an arrow pointing at a hardrive. then you just go mode>iso>write . select th file and select the button at the bottom.

for a double layer disc and you want to make it fit onto a single layer disc, you hace to compress/remove some files. download DVD Shrink 3.2. once you have that program just open the disc from the drive it is in. it allows you to compress the video and remove unwanted files like spanish directors commentary etc... you can make it easy on yourself and let it compress the movie itself and not have any files removed. Just be warned the quality wont be as great. if you want a better quality movie, you can buy other programs like AnyDVD or others listed in the guide above. hope that helps :)
