Hi, I have one question, how come sony has not made a new update for the psp ?, since almost all psp's are hacked (1.5,2.0,2.01,2.5,2.6) wouldn't they want to make a new update to patch up the hack, its been a while since sony has updated so I was just wondering, thanks

There are rumours about 3.0 but they are fully supporting the PSP! 2.6 was hard to crack but now its been cracked so their probably working on 3.0.

They have a fw 3.0 coming out when the 4gb ms drops. Its going to have the codecs to allow the psp to see a hdd of 4gb+(an 8gb card is also coming soon)

But sony are getting ahead of homebrew, i mean just when the mph game loader came out all the new games require 2.5/2.6! iso loading on 2.0+ is looking more n more worse, especially the way sony is sending out updates and making thier security better.......

The main reason Sony hasn't released a update is because the gta hack isn't something that is really damaging them i mean you cant run ISOs so why bother i mean that's there main concern is it not? Sony will release a update to implement new features rather than to fix the gta issues which there would be no point because all they can do is move the syscalls around which would be found right away the only way they can stop the gta hack is by forcing rockstar to release a whole new batch of gta UMDs since its in gta and not the firmware.

True but remember this , you cant use iso's on 2.5 or 2.6 so why did they make that, also funny thing how if sony never made 2.0 there is a chance people would still be trying to crack 1.52 cuz thats the only version that hasn't been hacked so yah...sony is just um stupid !!!!
