PSP 1.5 DOWNGRADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP

I am in the process of downgrading my PSP I bought it as a 1.51 and upgraded it to an v2.0, I then proceeded to do a downgrade to v1.0 then upgrade up to 1.5?!?! This was the way told as posted all over the web (using MPH downloader and EBOOT.EBP).
The screen went blank when putting the file into root of the memory stick and the photo file. (Version 1.0)
O>K I am at the stage where I am updating to a 1.5 using EBOOT.PBP. but when it tries, it says that.......The system cannot be updated. The update program is not applicable for the system. (80000025)
PLEASE HELP! AM I GOING WRONG OR IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO DOWNGADE/UPGRADE MY PSP ANYMORE PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME AN ANSWER AS I AM BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL!!!!

Just looked mate your right this is the second PSP I have been ripped off with!!!
i have just found a site called PSP 3D saying that one has just been released but saying it is quite poossible that it will brick my PSP!
What do you think????
sounds a bit dodgy, just like everyone selling 1.5's!!!

Yeah i wouldnt try it man, What you can do is sell your one, maybe to a friend or ebay. Then try and find a 1.5 off ebay,It doesnt need to be a 1.5 just anything 2.0 and below,
If its the Sonyxteam one your talking about i definately wouldnt try it bcos they said it themselves that it does not work.

plus i would take what people say on psp3d with a very big bucket full of salt.
you should check out pspupdates or here for that matter

Cheers for your help. Have bought two overpriced bricks now on ebay. The first one was advertised as a 1.5 but came to me as a 2.5. Sold that, the second one was advetised as a 1.51 and I had no idea of tiawan 1006/7 compatability!
What do you think the chances are of keeping this one to play homebrew in the near future?
Or will it be best just to sell it as a version 2.0 to some mug like me?

You can still play some homebrew, just not backup iso. Id sell it, advertise it as 1.51 sum1 is bound to go for it. Or you could check out the stores, there was a way to check the firmware still in the box, ill find it brb

How do i get it back to 1.51?
I have to either upgrade to v2.0 or keep it at version 1.0 part of my downgrade?

Well its not actually 1.0 firmware its just saying it is, its probably still 2.0
You did upgrade to 2.0 to downgrade to 1.0? If you have the web browser then its 2.0 still
If you have GTA LCS UMD you can run PSPsetX and you can change the firmware to pretty much any number you want.
