Hi all, was just wondering if anyone out there could give me some much needed advice.

I buy and sell things on ebay and recently have sold a few psp's without any problems, until now. I have sold 2 Version 2.00 PSP's to the same guy. The first he didn't have any problem with. However the 2nd one he claims wont switch on. I checked the PSP B4 I sent it and it worked fine.

I have since found that the same guy sells version 1.5 PSP on ebay. Infact he has 4 for sale at the moment. I suspect that what he may have done is tried to downgrade the PSP and bricked it. I have never tried to downgrade a PSP myself so don't know to much about it.

Does it sound to you like he has tried to downgrade it? Or could i just be barking up the wrong tree here?

it sounds like he did something to it, if it wont turn on the batt is either dead or its bricked

If it worked when you shipped it then there shouldn't be a problem. He can't get a refund if it was sold as is. And if he didn't pay for insurance thats one more thing you have against him (if you offered it). Also reccomend to him to call sony. If he says he did ask him what they said then call them and ask them what to do if a psp don't switch on, and then explain what the guy said and if that would be a way/to fix/ not possible to fix? Also he could just return to the store but I wouldn't recommend cause that could be against the law in certain places.
