Hi Guys
Can someone please tell me if it's possible to copy avi file to my memory stick if your PSP is upgraded to V2.60 or is it blocked?

There is no AVI playback on any fw.
Get psp video 9 and convert it to mp4 format(sp,avc)

There is an app u can get called AVIPLAY(2) I tried it and the sound works but the picture is all crackly, i just havent got round it yet,
the demo AVI works fine though.

Dont get ur hopes up Joeva, i havent got it quite right yet, give it ago and see for urself, the demo is grand plays flawlessly am using the stuff thats mentioned in the read me, Divx4.12 or Xvid but i just cant get it right. (why is some of my links in red)?

A q for ya mate...this AVI app requires u to encode in DivX 4.12 or XviD koepis build? Now ave encoded in 4.12 the sound is grand but the pic is all over the place, any ideas mate?

What r you encoding with? what program?
from reading info on the program its much like my player.
It requires, divx and mp3
The process i have to take when encoding is
1. encode video to divx, without sound (SOUND DISABLED)
2. I have to use a prog to get the audio into mp3 format (BESWEET)
3. I have to put together the new audio in mp3 format and new avi in divx using a muxer.

What i done was ripped the audio out of my VOB file and converted it with Bsweet to mp3.
Started up VDUB disabled the AC3 track and added my MP3 track.
Select DivX 4.12 as my encoder which he ok,ed in his read me, and stared procedings got my AVI sound was grand put the pic was...u couldnt watch it,small white an black bars darting over the screen, u might catch an odd glimpse or two of the movie.

im not sure if i will really try that program tho as i do a lot of watching from dvd(convert them to psp) and deleted a lot of my avis off my computer

use pmp player, thats what piece uses and he has full res movies and fits about 3 of them on his stick

Does it tell you what res your supposed to be encoding at eg? 320X 240? or 480X272
|

under PMp mod get guides. by edfma
Do everything that the guide says , up until the pmp muxing part, you dont do that ,youll have your own method.
eg after the vdub steps and besweet steps youll end up with a 480X272 AVI and a mp3 then mux em with a AVI mux prog not pmp muxer.

I dont really need that AVI muxer mate, as vdub dose it for me, see it works great on the comp, its fine but on the PSP its gash.

Hope it works man, if it doesnt try the 320X240 just to make sure its not that problem.
