i have just bought a v1.0 have tried to get fast loader0.7 up and running and i am still clueless what is the easiest guide to use out there or do i need to upgrade to v1.5 thank you in advance and sorry for being a pain in the butt

Yeah youll need to upgrade to 1.5

Make a folder in PSP\GAME called UPDATE

Open eboot with WinRAR and the file eboot.pbp is inside.
Copy that file into UPDATE you just made, Now run.

DO NOT TAKE OUT BATTERY, OR MEMORY STICK DURING UPGRADING. YOU WILL KILL UR PSP

Where did u get this supposed 1.0?
some programs out there can change the firmware number that showing without changing actual firmware

is yur psp from taiwan version 1007 ( if so it wont upgrade to 1.5 only 2.0)

Do not upgrade yet, there is a way to run fastloader, umd emu and all that other shit on 1.0, hold up lemme find a link.

2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer

1000 means its a jap psp which should work fine

1.0 units are very rare and hard to find and still are worth more then a regular 1.5

if its really 1.0 then just keep it as is. Everything should work.

I dont think fastloader 0.7 works on version 1.0 firmware. I heard there was a 1.0 mod of 0.7 made but it was unstable and din really work.
Try this one fastloader 0.6

Most the homebrew available now is for 1.5 psps and some for 2.01 +
its rare to find progz for v1.0 youd have to be specific in searches. eg fastloader 1.0 psp

This site keeps alot of old homebrew it will have a quite a few 1.0 homebrew compatible games.
