I have the movie ripped to my hd using DvdFabDecrypter, yet when I try to compress it, I get an ongoing loop issue with the menu and essentially, I can't get past the menu. Do I need to do the movie only to get around this or is there something that I need to?

I tried running it through the VobFix Program (newest version) but it did not change. I am not overly skilled at the Vob though.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't tried this one yet but if you follow alkohol guide you sould be fine - the guide is step by step will help you thru vobblanker (looks can be deceiving:) -
