is there any quality difference between sony memory stick [1gb]and lexar memory stick[1gb] ?

I havent heard of lexar memory sticks, I think Sandisk is the best, they read/write faster then the Sony ones, and they are cheaper. 2gb Sandisk are now $94 US at Success HK thats 50quid UK
