yep ive upgraded and downgraded 4 times now , no problems

was v1.5 (got stolen)new ceramic white 2.6---> downgraded to 1.5 :D

Yeah ive upgraded and downgraded about 30 times and no problems, so you should be fine. As for the 2gb try ebay? but watch out for those fakes!
