Ok after many hours or should I say days I got the hang of backing up dvd's even some of the encrypted ones using dvd43
But know Im at a loss is there an idiots guide especially for a woman as its driving me nuts any help much appreciated

DVD43 isnt updated. You should try using AnyDVD.

Pay the few $ for AnyDVD............
Well worth it, & constantly updated.

and i tried the trial any dvd and it didnt remove the sony columbia protection any ideas or is it only the bought version removes it

I've never had any problems using AnyDVD. With any movies.

If AnyDVD is working (Fox is red) & you have the latest version.
You should be good-to-go. When you open up Shrink it should appear as ''not encrypted''.

ok think I found the problem thanks it worked on the empire of the wolves which is Sony
I had to remove the DVD43 of computer and set the AnyDVD to unspecified thing and not a regoin it then worked fine will try out on Zorro and if it works with that will definately get thanks ever so much for help

buy AnyDVD at slysoft.com type in afterdawn in coupon area and get $5 off or try cdfreaks if that doesn't work.You will get a key emailed to you. back it up in several places.
