It's possible, that when the screensaver is running, to press the PRTSCRN button to capture the current pic on the screen. Then, open Paint, and paste..save as bmp. Saving a pic in Paint as a jpg, is probably the worst thing you can do, since Paint's jpg compression just plain sucks.

Use a different pic editing program to save as jpg.

If you have PaintShop Pro, (after pressing the PRTSCRN button), open it, right click, and choose "Paste as new image". Then, you can save it as any file you want.

Yes, pressing that button will cause the screen saver to quit. However, the last image on the screen should have been copied to memory, which you can paste into Paint, or PaintShop Pro...etc.

One thing that can prevent the PRTSCRN button from working, is if your keyboard supports advanced F key options. Either turning them on, or off changes how F keys work, including the print screen button.

It would have an F Lock key on the keyboard itself.

It just may not be possible to screen capture that particular screensaver.
