I've been reading about this for a bit and I'm still not entirely sure about what it is used for. My understanding is that you change the Q factor to increase/decrease quality and filesize. The lower the Q factor, the better the quality, and thus the larger the filesize. Obviously the opposite goes for higher Q factor.

So, my question is how do I use this to figure out the avg bitrate for Multipass VBR with CCE? I know how to figure out the bitrate from a sample but I other than that I am clueless. How do I use the sample bitrate to calculate the avg. bitrate I should use for my movie?
