I installed Speed Fan hoping that controling the temperature would work but is not helping. I use XP SP2 and my PC is an AMD Athlon XP-1600 1.40 GHZ 1.25 GB Ram. Is not the newest computer but does the job at my office.

Here is my most recent HJT log:

Xp spotaneous reboots are usualy related to software or driver conflicts more so than hardware overheating, ram, etc this site will tell you how to turn this action off giving you a chance to get an error screen or log entry as to the reason

Microsoft have a patch for the mrxsmb issue
have a look here
http://msmvps.com/blogs/bradley/archive/2004/11/04/17963.aspx

but I dont think that is the cause of your reboot but install it anyway
graphics drivers are a common cause do you have the latest installed ?
Roxie cd creator was causing that reboot problem if you have try uninstalling it
