Hi,
Got a couple of questions about USB ADVANCE, any info would be great!

1) How do i delete games off the Hard drive? I've on got the ul_format and ul_install options????????

2) Some games dont load up on the ps2, is this common and are there ways around this to make them load???????

3) With some games, the install will fail saying "Read error - Giving up" Any way to make them read???????

Sorry bout all the questions, just got it all working and have come across these little uncertainties.

PS. In answer to all the questions about is the slim PS2 USB1.1 or USB2, its USB 1.1 as it is slower than the cd/dvd drive to load games.

I am new & still learning but I should be able to help

On my HdAdvance3

1/ To delete games is simple just hi light game , arrow over to run menu down to delete press OK verify yes & is done

2/ Hi-lite game press select There is several options the first is refereed to as [mode 1] 2nd [mode 2] 3rd[mode 3] Try mode 3 first
hi-lite press OK to yes Just work with these 3 as there is only 7 combinations

3/ Clean disk or check if game is com pat with your model HD/Advance

Just realised that I meant USB Advance, and not HD Advance :)

Sorry did not read thread correctly. For any HdAdvance3 users

1] Slow HDD Access : {mode 1}
2} Disable DVD9 Support : {mode 2}
3} Kill HDA After Launch :{mode 3}

Went for coffe break when doing second post & pc s##t it's self the next day & lost link. I should have read your thread better. Try the HD advance - forum as they deal with all the ps2 h/d questions .I dont have their adress but do a google search for it.
