Hey there guys,
Sorry if this is a really stupid question with an obvious answer, its just something that its kind of bugging me. i have Maverick Hunter X running now, I used Piecefull's guide that on this forum (many thanks), and its an awesome game, but there's a few things wrong maybe? It says on the control setup that circle is dash, but my Megaman doesn't dash if I press circle, and also I cannot seem to get any extra weapons. I assume that when you pick up those eggs that are left when you kill bad guys you are meant to give you extra weapons? This is all only on Level 1, I cannot kill the boss due to my non dashing and weaponless Megaman.
Any help on this would be awesome, I am not sure if it's due to bugs in the ISO, or if I just don't know how to play the game properly.
Peace.

well i have got the game and only played in briefly, but i think when you beat a boss depending on the bosses powers you then take that power. ie if the boss can shot flames once defeted you can select that weapon, and those eggs are for your life

Oh my,
Being a HUGE Mega Man fan...
The dash, like the first edition of the X game, is aquired via capsule. In this game, after the intro stage when you get to choose from the eight mavericks, choose Flame Mammoth. After the first drop, right before the fire eruptions, there's a ledge that you can jump up to from the yellow platform. Do that, and there you go, there's the dash.
Those blue "eggs" as you call them are used to refill the boss weapons. They're useless until then.
So, your ISO is fine.
