I have a V14 slimeline PS2 (said to have a built in network adapter), an Arris cable modem (digital phone and internet running through it), and Madden 2006.

Do I need any other equipment in order to play online? If so how and what do I hook it to? Is online play free? is it a hassle to set up?

Got it working:) Just plugged the net cable that was in my pc to my ps2. I officially 1-0. I had trouble because I normally play with a custom playbook, but you can't use custom playbooks online; well at least you can't on madden 06.

I guess I better find a playbook to my liking because the Eagles playbook sucks big time.
