useing dvd shrink then nero 6 to burn dvd backup only gets half way done before error please help

Update firmware and post a new log if you don't get a successful burn, and we will dig a little deeper.

Also, I would say don't burn so close to the edge of the disc. 4465MB is a little too much, especially with not so good quality media. I wouldn't go more than 4350Mb.

this is last burn log still wont complete this getting to be hard on the blank disks

Turn the DMA on for your HDD, it is off. What kind of discs are you using? The error that u are getting, the drive does not like the media used:

What brand blanks are you using? The error is still there even after the f/w update, which should have picked up the media...yet it is still not identified in the log.

Very peculiar.

changed from teon dvds to sony dvds back to burning sucessfully funny cuz used them disks about 75 times before and all sudden dont work nomore but sony dvds did the trick thank you all for your help
