best option HD for a slimline

I've just got a Slimline PS2 i think it is V14 serial no is 75003.
What is the best way to store and run games from a HDD?
Can i run them from my PC HD or should i use a USB HD or some other way???

Your only option is getting the Usbextreme disc and using an usb hd.
