Has anyone had trouble burning dvd's put out by "universal studios"?? I am able to burn the dvd's, but then when I go to watch them, they stop part way through!

I have no problems backing up Universal or Sony DVD's. In fact it is easy to backup any movie using AnyDVD and DVD Shrink (or any transcoding software for that matter).

What brand of burner do you have, and is its firmware current?
What brand of media are you using?
What decryption software are you using?
Which software title do you use to burn with?

PC: 2.8GHZ PIV, 120 GB HD, 1 GIG ECC RAM, GeForce FX 5600, Sound Blaster Audigy 2

CD Burner/DVD Reader: Lite-On LTC-48161H - Firmware KHOR
DVD Burner: BenQ 1640 - Firmware BSRB

I would relate the problem to media. This will probably be the culprit.

I figured. Just went out and purchased Verbatim DVD+R's. Hopefully this works. Good thing I still have all the backups on computer
