I hope I am in the right forum for this question. I would like to join some WMV files to create 1 single movie. I have tried a couple of programs but neither one was very impressive. I used easy video joiner and movie joiner. Both had difficulties with a number of the files. Can anyone recommend a really good software for this which is hopefully not too expensive.

Try encode with VSO DivXtoDVD (free version), then burn with Nero or whatever program you have:

Just keep adding the wmvs with VSO before hitting 'convert'.

Good luck!

now there is a newer version of DivXtoDVD..... it's called ConvertXtoDVD..... much better...... much faster....... the free version has a watermark logo on it.... but you can try it out and determine if you like it.... then buy it!!!!

Thanks a lot appreciate feedback. I have the convertxtodvd program and it is really good. However when I load several files in converts them very well, but it does not appear to merge/join files. Am I missing something or is that what Nero would do?

I use VirtualDub Mod to join my files then ConvertX..........I have no idea if V-Dub works with WMV's though, I think I've only used AVI's with it.
