im havin trouble puttin some music on it and i got my usb cable and everything and yeah but like everytime i put a song on there and i check if its there, nothin plays and im like 'uhh.....' any help yall?

have you formatted your memory stick? to format it you go to the system options tab on the far left (cant remember exact name)>system settings>format mem stick. once you do this you will have 2 main folders-psp and mp_root. just click on psp and you will have 5 more folders. just click on music and paste it there. hope this helps

just copy all of your stuff on your psp to your hdd. the save game files will be ULUS... folder or ULES if not north american. format the mem card then paste the ULUS files to psp>SAVEDATA. dont worry just copy everything to your hdd first. a few days ago i formated it cuz i had 2 much crap on my ms and lost my gta save file-luckily i had a backup. even with teh psp save files-always backup , you might make a dumbass mistake like me one day

you might not have a MP_ROOT folder yet though. But like sukhvail said just paste the song in the music folder.

Can i ask what kind of music service you are using?
sonicstage, music match, iTunes...

well you could get Sonic stage, it will put songs directly to the memory stick, no need to copy and paste, plus you can put it in playlist.

wut format did you convert them to? only mp3 atrac3 and wma if you have the right firmware work. a hdd stands for hard disc drive-the thing you save stuff on your comp. just copy the ULUS files to my doc's and format your mem stick. if you use sonic your mem stick will still be formatted so put ur things on your comp now and then format.

i downloaded that sonicstage but how many songs can i have on there cuz my they come up as atrac3 and they only hold a certain amount

your memory card decides how many songs you can hold..
so depending on the size of the memory card you can hold more

if you have a 32 mb which is the one it came with you are going to be able to hold about 6 songs at normal quality 128 bitrate

Use ATRAC3 you can fit a whole album on that 32mb stick.
