get a cheap one,
then buy a new one,
then put the cheap ms in the new packaging
then return it.
a new ms for a cheap price.
P.S.-when i say cheap i mean ebay, or a gameshop that sells used products, then get a memory stick that looks the same as the used one and swap them.

thats illegal... nice idea, i have heard it before but i dont want to break the law. ill just see if i can get one on ebay i guess unless someone else has an offer or somewhere else to get it.

they all look pretty real, and some of them you can even use for a few days...
i wouldnt go for that one tho, there are sites with cheap memory sticks jus google/yahoo it

At the mo i ave a 1gig an the 32meg both is full with homebrew with all the emu,s and scummvm and what not, so i cant wait to get me hands on a 4gig.

Now as for the 4gig that is going to be a big buy for many of us... except for me.
i am going to wait for the keyboard. im tired of the cellphone keyboard. then i can use the webbrowser on the psp more often, other than playing my games.

You can buy one of eBay but here are a few suggestions:
The card isn't going to be rediculously inexpensive, so if you see one that is, it probably a fake.
Ask if it comes with a factory warrenty.
Ask the seller, as dumb as it sounds, if its real. State something like "I don't want to buy a fake card, so if this isn't real, I'll take my business elsewhere"
Set up your eBay account to have the responses sent back to your email account; save the responses.
Check the seller to see how many cards they're selling at the time (or other electronics) and the price they're selling them for.
Check the seller's rating
And most importantly; do not buy from any Asian countries. US is your best bet.
If you do these, and it turns out to be fake, you can make a better case when complaining to eBay, and chances are you'll get your money back,(not for a while though). I was able to buy a 2 gig card about 2 months ago for 99 US off eBay, so I can attest that its not all bad.

i bought a 2gig MS Pro Duo High Speed (wuteva u wanna call it, it works :P) for AUD$160. Where? From ebay! I was very surprised.
so why get a 1gig msduo where u can get 2gig :P . just have a good look around before you buy stuff, because in australia, the EXACT same one was sold for AUD$350 at a store. i waz laughing when i saw that. but pretty much it works A-OK. no hiccups or anything at all.
but back to what i REALLY wanted to say, i havent had any bad experiences with stuff bought from ebay (bought a few items so far that i cant get in aust). make sure you analyse VERY well before you buy over ebay, thats it ^_^
@zxm: i wouldnt import from USA... too far away for me. im closer to HK/Japan/China, and i would rely on asian products since a lot of items come from there (cheap labour :( feel bad for them)
