Here's another way some of you may want to try copying these new copy protected DVDs (The Cave, Bewitched, Brothers Grimm, Flight Plan, The Fog, etc.) using AnyDVD 2.0.0.4, DVDFAB Decrypter 2.9.7.2 & Clone DVD 2.8.8.2...
Have AnyDVD running in the background. Use DVDFAB Decrypter to Decrypt the movie to a folder on your hard drive. After that, use Clone DVD to copy the movie from the hard drive folder and you're in business. This takes up alot of space on your hard drive so be ready to delete those files when you're done but it works and it's simple.

I'm surprised that old AnyDVD version will pull off that newer sony encryption. You may want to update AnyDVD.
5.9.4.1 is the latest update that I have.

Here's my setup:

I Always leave AnyDVD disabled, until the need arrises.
Dvd shrink/Re-athor/rip to harddrive/Autoburn with Nero.Even simpler!

I've got no need for dvdfab decrypter. With the latest AnyDVD version,DVD Shrink will rip through 99% of those newer sony/columbia encryptions.

It is not a wise idea to have both of these programs running together, it can cause conflicts. AnyDVD will work well with DVD Decrypter but not always with DVDFab Decrypter, use one or the other. If you have AnyDVD and CloneDVD you do not need to rip with Decrypter both these programs will handle the process. AnyDVD now includes a ripper in it for disks with hard to rip encyption.

Okay, I am confused. How do you use AnyDVD and Clone DVD without using a decrypter? I have AnyDVD (i am not sure how it works) but I use DVD Shrink which automatically creates an ISO file and burns with DVD Decrypter. I am trying to backup Hitch so I downloaded AnyDVD and CloneDVD but it only encodes 17% of movie before it comes up an error. What am I doing wrong?

Brother's Grimm, Flightplan, Stealth, Bewitched can all be copied using DVD Decrypter and PCGEdit ARccOS plugin, and encoded with Shrink. No need for any of the payware at all.
