Ok so ive installed my DMS4 Pro SE Chip and everything is connected right. I even get the Black screen saying DMS4 Pro Disabled, reset now. Ive burned so many copies of the Toxic BIOS, i have a cd with the ELF file only, a CD burned using Nero and Alcohol from the .Cue and .Bin files, and i still cant get the Bios to load. How do u load the Bios, or what am i doing wrong, or what? I simply dont know anymore. Ive checked every site possible and still no answer. When i power on teh PS2 i have to reset once to get the PS2 menu. Why? What am i doing wrong?
sounds like a bad installation, you've got a wire corssed up somewhere more then likely. if all wireing checks correct, try updating the flash via the TOS_UO41.ELF file by executing it.
Toxic BIOS is part of the OS and you can flash a Pro with the BIOS only and it will work perfectly, it just doesn't use the full ability of the chip and you don't get the full features of using the OS.
I tried burning the ISO and Cue file of the Toxic Bios onto a Verbatim DVD+R media with Alcohol 1.9.5.3823, also another disc with just the Elf file of the Toxic Bios using Nero v7. Before i burned my files onto CD-R's, maybe thats why it didnt work. Well guess what, it still doesnt work. Can someone give me a step by step instruction as how to record it. How do i update the freaking BIOS file, and what do u mean by executing it. What do i need to burn in order to execute a file on the PS2 Console. HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP. PLZ.
Can i use nay USB pen drive, cause i have a USB with U3 somewhere around. Can i use that to do it. What files do i copy over to the drive and do i need to clear the drive of any files in order for it to work. Can i just burn it to a DVD+R, do u guys have instructions how to do this?
the LBA is written incorrect for DVD burning so thats not an option. have you tried using a different flash? I've had V14 consoles that didn't want to boot the 0.41 flash disk so i had to flash to 0.40 first then upgrade via the .elf, you might try that.
Too late for that, i just took of the chip like 5 minutes ago, but im gonna turn the chip 90 degrees clockwise, making the cables shorter, see if that works. Ohh and i tried playing a Original Game when i took off the chip and it worked, so that means that it still works fine. Ill let you know when im finished and if it works. Oh and btw do u know any people that do this kinda stuff professionally, if it doesnt ill just take it to somebody to get it done. I live in the Chicago area. THX Bye y'all
