i am having a problem using dvdshink. burn failed due to (cyclic redundancy check) i have tryed cleaning the disc ,closing and reopening the disc and dvdshrink ,i've tryed all that i know how i'm a novice with computers please spell the solution out as if i were stupid thank you

What movie are you trying to do, could be a copy protection error. Have you tried ripping with DVDFab Decrypter or DVD Decrypter first to your HDD and then running it through Shrink, if you get the same error with other programs take your disk back and get another original.

walk the line ,yes i've tried dvdfab it locked up , no ihave not tried dvd decriptor can not find it i've tried several links to it but can not find it i have had this happen on other discs but tried it again and was able to burn

Take the original back and get another, there is something on the disk. Or try it in another drive to rip, sometimes one drive won't do it and another will. I backed up this movie with no problem there is no special protection on it. If you need DVD Decrypter or any other programs here is a link
