HEY....
i installed the fastloader, and i use the Metal gear acid umd disk to try and start the files....
but they just sit there....at the screen where you choose what game...saying "intializing" or somthing....
any Ideas??

Hey...
good and bad news....
i have installed emulators and all that..i have about 6 iso game files...only coded arms and dynasty warriors works...the others i have don't?? they come up as if the umd is in..but when i click on..it either goes to start then goes all black..or for prince of persia it says "Game could not be started. (fffffed3) " lol sooo i don't know?? any ideas on how to get the games to work..i know some require things changed inside of them...
so my list is
Prince of persia: Revelations
NFS : most wanted
GTA: liberty stories
if anyone has any ideas or thoughts....
i'm open to any ideas..thanks heaps

im not sure about the other ones but for gta lcs u need mph game loader or mph fix but but ull hav to ask som1 else on how to use them my psp is 2.1

thanks...
do u know where i can dowload this Mph gameloader? and what step i need to take to get it to work...
i have 2 iso of GTA:lcs...one is about 500mb the other is only 150mb...
so any help would be great ...thanks..

Ok first I used YAUIS to shrink the 1.16gb iso from my UMD to about 836mb. Get it here http://www.pspsaves.info/download.php?view.102
Open the program and just drag the iso into the first screen. Click on the bottom right pad iso, then click shrink and wait. The new iso will be saved to where the original iso was.
Now go download UMDgen here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194 just have it on hand you'll need it later.
Now go here and install this tutorial wicked easy to follow: http://tinyurl.com/rotwg You'll have to go through the rapidshare crap but it's just all clicking. Don't worry it's all there.
Now just follow this and when I put the iso back together I used UMDgen and when both extracted iso files were dragged into UMDgen ready to be rebuilt. All I did was have the PSP_Game folder selected in blue and just hit file save and that rebuilt my iso. This is the first time using that program and thats all I did to rebuild the iso.
Here is the tutorial here http://tinyurl.com/rotwg thats already posted pasted just again to tell you it will lead you into everything I explained. ull still need to download it but to give u the instructions here they r Step 1
Extract the content of the GTA:LCS iso using WinrAR/UltraISO or ISOBuster
Then Copy over "PRX2_0_0" into \PSP_GAME\USRDIR\ and overwrite all the files that it asks.
Rebuild the iso using VCDROMx or UMDGen
Step 2
Copy over "mphgameloader" folder to the root of the memorystick
Step 3
Copy the MPHGAMELOADER & MPHGAMELOADER% folders into "\PSP\GAME\"
Step 4
Copy over your GTA iso to your memorystick like you would usualy to play the games into \ISO\
then load up UMD Emulator v0.8c make sure that "system menu" is the iso emulation mode thats selected and press X to load
the iso. Once in the menu go to the MPHGameLoader and thats it... enjoy the game...

hey man...thanks for helping..but still no go...
I think my iso of the game isn't a good copy, becasue when i tried to paste the other folder in...it didn't ask to replace anything?? which by the sounds of things it should of...so i think it is my iso file...
but the other game " NFS:most wanted..it says it should work..but it dosn't?? thats where i'm confused....but i will keep trying..

i know...it should work...thats why its weird that it dosn't...i have all the proper emulators and files...casue they run other games...but with the most wanted, it says the disk is in there...when i click ok...it goes to start up then, dosn't do anything...just stays there.....black..screen...soo....i don't know..its the usa version, ..any ideas??

All I can suggest is downloading another version. I take it you have tried loading using umdemulator????

well in that case...
i might download anothe emulator, at the moment i have 0.08c, devhook .22 and ummmmmmmmm........another one that i needed to get GTA:Lcs to work (which i couln'd)..
what one do u use to make it work?? and i will give that a go...

I've used fastloader and ummdemulator to get it to work. To get it to load with umdemulator, select umdemulator, set ISO emulation mode to direct load then press x on the NFSMW ISO, should load the game.
To get GTA LCS to work you need umdemulator and mphgameloader installed on your psp, select umdemulator on your psp, set ISO emulation mode to system menu and press x on the GTA ISO which will take you back to the psp main menu. Then select mph gameloader and this will start the game.

i highly dout that if they crack the 2.7 *which bearly came out a few weaks ago* into an mph loader i think ull still need to upgrade to use it

You should have that option, you should also have copy load and system menu. If you don't have these then I can only suggest you download umdemulator v0.8c from psp-hacks because I don't think you have the right one.

i got it....working...i downloaded another version...fast loader 7 and it worked...but it didn't on version 0.08c ...weird huh??
well...i have a few other games that wont work...like "pursuit force" and "prince of Persia" ....but i will have a look...but if you have any ideas..... i'm willing to hear them....

Yeah it is pretty weird. If you look on the working games list...
http://forums.psphacks.net/index.php/topic,13528.0.html
It shows which games work and with which loader.
Both Pursuit Force and Prince of Persia should work with umdemulator, just different emulation types.
just looked at the list and only the EU version of Pursuit Force will run.

You can't downgrade v2.60 to 1.50 mate. 2.0 is the highest firmware that you can downgrade

ive had this obsurd idea that i neva tried out...is it possible to downgrade v2.6 to v2.5, then v2.5 to v2.4, then v2.4 to 2.3, then v2.3 to v2.2, then v2.2 to v 2.1, then v2.1 to v2.0, the v2.0 to v 1.50? :p
