Your DRU810A doesn't support PIF. You either need to "cross-flash" your DRU810A to the BenQ1640 and it'll support everything. Check out the "sticky" thread started by my buddy "Doc. aka kivory666" in the DVD-R & DVD+R media forum and read the few last 2 or 3 pages and you'll come across a buddy of mine "Tokijin", he used to have the same burner as yours DRU810A, but he'd cross-flashed into the BenQ and now it fully supports everything.

Be very careful and make your own decision. It is very risky, you can either damage your drive or have a success. So think it twice and think wisely.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Hello Alkohol,

thank so much for responding so fast i do appreaciate everything everyone is doing to help me get on my feet. anyway Your right about that being a "BIG" risk involved. Seeing i have no experience at this stuff i mess things up and be out of a Buner. so are there any other alteratives like other programs to scan with. Or would my only alterative outside of doing the benQ thing to buy another drive. You know i bought this drive because people said it was a good burner. You know if i had known this ahead of time i would of spent the extra money to get something better and compatable. any advice or help you can shead on this matter would be deeply appreaciated thank you again

If the drive doesn't support PIF scanning it just doesn't, you either crossflash it or you don't...it doesn't matter what program you use. The choice is your, think carefully...or how old is the drive? Could you take it back for a replacement?
