Whats the story with the 4gb and 8gb memory sticks..are they going to be the same size as a normal one or what? and in your opinion how much would they both cost?

does anyone have a ReAL memory stick that is not stickerised?
i think they are all stickeried , fake or not

You shoulda all stick with Sandisk the read/write speeds are much better then even Sony's hi speed cards.

but.. but... Sandisk sounds so lame :( .
the sony mspd i bought off ebay, doesnt have a sticker at all on it. all printed.
 P4 2.8gHz, 1.5G DDRRAM, 370GB HDD, o/c 6800LE, Leadtek DV2000
 Firmware 1.5, 2.0G MSPD > lovin it ^_^
 modded, collecting dust
 stock > 15 original games that hurt my pocket :(

Actually the brand mem sticks have the name printed on it, I compared to two already. Although I live in the US so I'm not really sure how it works outside it, was the box it came with kind of small, had Japanese letters and was REALLY easy to open?
Steps to bricking a PSP:
1. Get a brick
2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer

4g are going to be normal size for sony also.

I got a box with all the chinese/japanese letters, and no it wasnt easy to open, but it does look like someone tried, it is small, and it has a official sony sticker inside of it (the hologram ones that flicker) not outside.

I got my 1gb for £40/$69, its a sony high speed pro duo, i got it abroad and ive had no problems with it so far, I bought it in december and didnt really pay attention to looking for fakes...hehe lucky its genuine.

Yup, those are the cases they use to re-package them, the writting on it is a sticker if you look closer, don't worry though you still got a hell of a deal and wont have any problems for a while.

Ive got a sony 1gb high speed pro duo, normal sony 1gb , 1gb from giga pack, 2x sony 2gb, sandisk 1gb oh and about 6 32mb/64mb's . There all real well obvioulsly if there from sony. My cousin works there so i get stuff like this for free!

Who's the say it isn't just a imported memory stick straight from JAPAN.. The packaging is going to be different than the UK or American Ver of the product.. Japanese & Chinese packaging looks cheap and cheezy anyhow and it's the same product.. They just package things better to please the American consumer...

Tmfloria - Do you really have the Windows Xp on your psp, if so how is it.. Did you do it yourself w/ the windows xp disk or did you just download something and put in in your shell folder?
I've seen the windows95 on the psp but i havent seen windows xp

I can confirm its 100% fake because i used to sell them and them chinese got me bankrupt well the 6 dotted oon the side of the package means its a definate fake, the instruction on the back does not match the original japanese memorystick and hmmmm the actual memorycard looks fake anyway because of the labels and how its done i should advise you to return it or you will be out of pocket in a few weeks when they break down i still have 15 2gb but i cannot resell them i dont like selling fakes

Yeh but the memory card looks very original... And I bought mine for £41. Which is not cheap cause I was saving that up :(. Maybe he put it there to make it hard to come off or it might scrambe in the mail? The colour looks really original, and the gold looks actually gold looking compared to my 1 gig stick. And there are no marks on the sticker that shows that it has been stuck on.

you will be lucky if it survive for 6 months lol i can assure you it will in the near future i got a original sandisk they aint too bad but i get lifetime gurantee that the good thing about it where as the sony fakes you will be looking to get robbed if you return it because they aint really going to replace it after 45 days paypal i know how these seller work well lucky i only made 20 refunds out of 245 2gb :-)

the guy that wanted to buy fakes from HK the wholesale price now is 50 2gb for $51.00 and there is a special offer if you buy 50 2gb you will get another 50 for free which makes it $25.50 which make it a bargain. but telll you the truth i dont trust them people
