Sorry to continue with the same problem but... I followed the advice of one member which was so kind to help me. I updated my Nero version to the 7.0.8.2 with no bugs

Then I instaled the drivers of nforce 3.10 Nvidia

I tried, with no success (and I don't know the exact reason) to update the drivers of my LG-GSA 4082B from my current version A204 to the newest one A209 getting always the same message: updated failed...

While trying to burn an DVD I always get the same message: "buffer too large"...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance again!

- we need to help you get up to A209, but as you've had trouble doing this we'd best leave this 'til last and tweak the rest of the logfile first...

- CMC make atrocious write-once discs (classic comment, they barely write 'once' but i digress!) but hopefully their dvd rewritables aren't as bad as the write once discs

Buffer too large
- right. we need to get rid of those NVidia drivers to resolve this one.. see this link here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/231433#1304083
Basically kurtp21 found the fix in that thread for 'nvidesm' drivers, ie get rid of the nvidia IDE controllers and install standard microsoft drivers
