whats the best pal to ntsc converter? i have the one that called pal2ntsc yfix, but the ps2 wont run the game when i choose y-fix in the selector and the ntsc screen is not centered which makes it hard to play the game
if it is any good you should not have to convert the game.
What kind of chip is it? My DMS4 Pro plays them fine as long as i change the settings to force NTSC mode and turn the "Y" position fix on.
yeah, my DMS4 Pro will play PAL or NTSC just fine.
Good mod chips will play just about anything that is out there.
most people just buy the cheapest chip they can find and have to suffer later when they find out what they could have had.
Since i have not had to convert games i do not know which program is best, but here are some.

Hey Steimy: newbie here with 2 questions. Just had dms4 pro installed on my ps2 so i could play back-ups and PAL games. First question, how do I control the chip functions (force, disable, etc) and what do they all mean/do (can't find answers-i think i'm searching incorrectly)? Second question, when I put in my PAL game (pes5) there is no audio and the screen runs horizontal and/or diagnol. After researching chip/game/tv compatibility, I think my tv is not PAL compatible-does that make sense (its a PANASONIC TH42PA25)?
Thanks for any info/help you can provide.
