"data redundency error", plz HELP!

hey guys, I tryed to make a backup copy of my Southpark DVD (complete season 3) but it gets a "data reduncdency check error" every time I try to copy it with Dvd shrink.
I have tryed to copy it with Alcohol too (reading errors ticked, otherwise it doesnt copy) I left it through the night to copy, and in the morning it went from 34% to 38%. there is too many read errors...
( have even tryed to use programs like NERO and dvd decripter too..)
is tere any way that i can copy this disc?

p.s i have got a New BEnQ writer with the latest firmware.

Is the read side of the disc damaged or soiled in any way? You may have a bad press. Have you burned anything successfully?

Sounds as if your disk is bad, try cleaning it or get another original. CRC errors are usually caused by scratched/imperfect disks. If you cannot get through it with the number of programs you tried it is more than likely bad. You can give it one more try using the free program DVDFab Decrypter to make sure it is not protection error. Rip it to your HD and then process with Shrink, it is available here.

i tryed to clean the discs, but with no luck...

i exchanged them for other discs, but now when i put the new discs in the dvd rom doenst even read it??? makes funny sounds, and says (no disc)

i dunno the place where i bougth them is kinda dodgy, maybe that explains it, but still how does it work on a dvd player?

ill try downloading the program, maybe it works...

im quite shure its not the dvd rom, coz i have burned lots of stuff after trying to copy these discs....

i had it happen to when it doesnt even read the disc. if you want to burn a disc using shrink you have to make sure that all other programs are not running especially DVD Decrypter or alcohol. i backed up all south park season 1-7 and its been all good using SmartRipper or AnyDVD and DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and burn with NERO
