I jus install a new DVD -R on my mac but it dosent work. anything I wanna a do, it says...

Sense key = illegal request
Sense code = 0X21, 0X02 or sense code = 0X24

Not a mac user but here's 2 things to try first. Is the drive properly connected? Check that. Are you using quality media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim?
