Has anyone seen the hard drive for the psp
its 4gb but it is very costly
i went on ebay and found
another one it was called ne converter
and you could put a compact flash and a memory stick and it came with a 4gb hd its pretty cool does anyone have it
and also does the speed of a memory stick affect
when you are playing a game from your memory card??
To answer you question, there is a 4gb hard drive drom datel. but since this is a hdd and its not a pro duo, it tends to be slow(loading times etc) its rather cheap running at $179USD and it comes with a 2x battery. So you are getting the 4gb hard drive for about $130 which isnt bad at all. However ppl complained about slow video feedback or problems playing mp3 sometimes. then again someone on this site said that it wasnt slow for them at all but its bulky. Its up to you we cant make the choice for ya tho. If you're patient, you'll wait for the 4gb pro duo card coming, if not you'll get one of those, which will actually be cheaper than the pro duo coming out tho it wont be as fast and it will bulkify the psp
The psp supports 4gb now, why would it require a higher firmware for that. If ppl have 4gb hdd working now, then obviously it wouldnt need a new firmware for this jaskaran. they will be releasing a new firmware anyway, 3.0 with the new memory stick, but thats to for the psp to recognize over 4.0 gbs of direct memory
