Is there any reason that the more recent movies are not being detected by my DVD drive, but are being detected by my much slower DVD burner drive making back-up a much slower process, especially for those movies needing DVD Decrypter first.

If your pressed DVDs are not being recognized, it might be because the drive is failing. Try a lense cleaner, see if that makes it better.

It's the originals that are not detecting. However, the drive still detects DATA discs just fine.

What gives?
