I am having trouble transfering music to my psp...i have the software called PSP Video Converter (http://www.clonedvd.net/download.html) it can transfer music, photos and videos....havent tried other things but movies once with another software and it worked but I can't seem to make my songs work on it...

I have the 32 MB mem stick that came with it...is that why? since it is magicgate?

Please help me...I want to listen to music...

as long as your music is in Mp3 format you dont need any video converter or any other program.
Just go into your psp and make a folder in PSP called MUSIC and copy all your music (mp3) into that folder.

you mentioned having a 32mb card.
the bigger your hard, the more songs you can hold, which i don't kno if you knew. and having the original stick does have its advantages, like atrac3 playback

atrac3plus is a audio format its smaller then mp3 with no quality loss.
If your psp is 1.5 firmware then you can only play psps from memory stick DUO which your 32mb stick is.
If your on 2.0 or higher you can play atrac3 on all memory sticks DUO or PRO DUO
Sonicstage can install atrac3 to psp.

It will work on a 2 gb mem stick pro duo right?

I have a question what if a mem stick PRO DUO 2 gb is in stores but on the box it does not say that it works for psp, will it work??? It is mem stick pro duo not pro...so it should right?

by the way, I can fit 25 songs (mp3) in my psp with 32 mb mem stick duo (the included one) by compressing it to 40 kbps and I still had over 600 kb of space left (for pics etc) the quality was just ok, so you say atract3 will be better sound and smaller file?? That sounds amazing!!!!!
Help get me started, please...

the 2gb will work if your psp is 2.0 and over.
if you are on a 1.5 then you need to have a pro card.
sonic stage can change it atrac3.http://products.sony.co.uk/SonicStage2_3.asp
with atrac3 format you can fit a whole album at decent quality(and by decent i mean way better than the 40kbps you saving yours at) in atrac 3 and even more if lower the bitrate
