Hi guys, I'm not new to Shrinking and Decrypting so no need to noob bash me. :P But I have little problem. I've ripped an ISO of Land of the Dead and have Re-authored it in Shrink, I've only selected and dragged Title 1 (ie: the main movie without menu's, special features etc, JUST THE MAIN MOVIE!) and now I wanna add a little .avi clip I've made to the re-authored disc but DVD Shrink 3.2 doesn't seem to support that.

I've made a little title clip with my name and a picture in Photoshop and used Windows Movie Maker to add music and save it as a small .avi clip. I want it to play before the main movie plays once I've burnt it onto DVD5. Any suggestions on how this is done? Any proggy's that let you do that in Shrink?

Thanks,

Boltoto.

DVD doesn't support AVI files, so that's why it won't let you use an AVI. I've never done what you are asking myself, but one big step is to convert this custom title into a DVD compliant MPEG-2 file so that DVD authoring programs will accept it.

You have to turn your clip into a DVD-Video compliant set of files. That is the only type of files that Shrink can handle.

I like to make short clips and add them as well. I use NeroVision to convert the .AVI to DVD then add that to the main DVD in Shrink, using the re-author mode. I also add a bit of "black video" in between the clip and the movie to smooth the transition.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, I tried wmv etc but nothin' works. So, I can just use a converter? Any good Freeware that converts AVI/WMV to MPEG-2?

I don't know of any converter that's free. You can usually download a free trial though.

I use a couple of different ones:

Cucusoft AVI to DVD converter:

ConvertXtoDVD2 (One of the best, and my favorite for simply converting avi to dvd.)

Nero has many other features, besides a converter:
