Hi all,

I have a friend she has got someone that has added her to her to their msn and emails her and she doesnt know who the person is. She has asked the person and they write crypted stuff as a reply like a clue...

I just wanna find out who this person is for her... If u know how to do this plz let me know or just pm me and let me know thanxs :)

Try getting the person's ip adress and look it up on RIPE, that should give you either their adress or at least abuse report info for their ISP...

what do i put in ripe to get their ip address cause i dont even know this person ip address all i know is their email...

I said that you should input the persons IP into RIPE to get the info.
There are a few ways of obtaining the person's IP, like using a packet/ip sniffer while chatting to this person, or try using the netstat built into windows : http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/p...

Well ill give u an update of the situation...

I have told my friend that she should block the person if she was not sure of the person etc...

She found out that the guy randomily slected her from a random chat thing off my space etc...

So she said its ok and she will talk to him about religion etc... soo we will see what will happen but things are ok.
