Am I right in saying, that there is currently NO way to boot a 2.6 ISO on a 1.5 firmware PSP? If this is true, is there anything planned for future?

It was Worms: Open Warfare I was talkin about, in case that helps.

It's fraustrating as hell. Really want to play worms on the PSP, but at the same time - I don't want to upgrade to firmware 2.6 and lose all the homebrew apps i've got installed. Some of that stuff is awesome!

Your best bet is to try the method used for shinbudokai, or megaman powered up.

megaman : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/320555

shin budokai : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/319328

try the megaman method first.

altho on the list

exactly. it really depends on the game, there are games taht require 2.01 that we havent gotten to work yet and there are 2.5 and 2.6 that we have gotten to work.

Ah well, in that case this is one of the ones which aint workin. Tried with Fastloader (not a chance), UMD Emulator (as Direct / copy / System AND System with MPH).

Nothing worked.

Care to elaborate on how you got it working?? I tried with MPH loader again (being the most obvious one to get it working) and couldn't get it to shift at all.

Well actually let me change that one more time
Its Battle Carnival and Red Hot Rumble, they BOTH work. LOL!
Oh and I didn't do anything to make them work. Alls I did was download it. But this one was funny today. I downloaded a file called Battle Carnival [Jap] dax. I had to get daxiso to decompress it, but then it turned out being Red Hot Rumble and in english. LOL!
I aint complaining.
The game is real good. There is like 15 characters you can choose from, and joe is back with more colors too,
I think I am going to call my self 'Viewtiful Joeva' what you think?

worms won't work unless someone can make a thing like mph for a version 2.6 and make it custom sepcifically for worms itself, but then i don't think many other games will work for it

On here http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=18060&page=3 a guy has posted that Worms is working, presumably in the same way as SFA3 is, but there are no details.

Got both the worms and lemmings patches working, but wondering if there is any way to have them both on the mem stick at the same time? The patch puts a directory called "x" into the root of the mem stick, but the 'x' directory for each patch is a different size.

Anyone know how this can be done?

i know for a fact that the xx thing wont work, bcos the programming has taught the patch to read only x,but i could re-do the patch if i get permission from its author if you want,i think ill do it that one patch has x the next one has y and the last one z.
