TDK's are not recommended, try some Verbatim +R's.

If your burner's firmware is up to date, you might actually have some successful burns. And they might actually play okay in your player, but down the road, a few months ahead, they may start to freeze or skip when you want to play them, you might be unable to copy them again because of read errors, and all because of poor quality dye, that will fade before too soon. You could try and return them even though you opened them Tell them they just don't work for you( some stores have a good return policy).

My crystal ball is a bit cloudy, so I cannot tell you how successful you will be using those discs.

My drives are always up to date. And a long long time ago I did buy TDK media. Yeah, don't ever buy 'em. I've never tried Memorex so I'll say TDK is the worst one I've had experience with.

Do not use 'em. You'll regret it. If they are actually read by the DVD player, you'll notice they skip or momentarily freeze. Most of the time, though, it'll just stop automatiically.

Either trash the discs or sell 'em to some other poor unsuspecting soul. Or use them as frisbees with your pet.

What's the MID code on those TDK's?
Both your dash and plus.

More than likely cmags on those plus's.

Here's a free program if you don't have dvd decrypter/dvdinfopro/neroinfotool/or dvdidentifier:

If you can get them to burn, the most trouble will show up during playback on stand alone players. Burn a few at 4x/at a reduced 4300 mbs backup target and test them out in all the drives that play your backups. Then you'll know how they handle them. You have to get past the no disc error, then make sure you have no pixellation/freezing/skipping/and jumping.
