Oh no...Psp socom server help

When i try to get a server for psp it says it can't find a server and automatically logs me out, can anyone help me without having to use nerdy sceince words.

Your internet is working fine?

Are you using the backup to play or the UMD??

try asking there its the official socom site.

yah i have 100 percent connection. But what do you mean by backup...I have the psp umd for socom and thats whats in when im playing.should i bee using a backup copy of the game?

You have 100% connection but can you surf the internet?
try the browser and surf the web.
If you can do that then it should be working fine.

Also you need to have a memory stick in for socom.

When i try to go to a website it says that the connection to the server timed out....Oh yeah forgot to tell you,the first day i got online i played socom online but since then it hasnt worked wich was the 23rd of march.

Thats the problem man, youve got to have internet working on your psp before you can have socom working on it.

What is the internet error your getting?

I dont think that helps me cause i dont have a dns error and i have a perfect connection..It will even connect to the internet just when i go to a website it says the server coulndt connect and timed out.

Do you have security on your router?
eg WEP or WPA?
If so turn it off and try your internet again.

Did you setup your ip in your psp automatically or manually?

If you did it auto try it manually.
If you dont know how follow the intructions in the DNS error page.

click start - go to Run
now type in cmd in the box press enter

A black screen pops up
type this in exactly
netsh int ip show dns

write the numbers down

so it said primary dns? did you get numbers eg 192.168.1.243 or sumthing?
dont worry about seecondary asl ong as you got primary enter it in your psp.

Ill be on in about 7 hours.
gotta get some sleep before work. Until then you could find your DNs by going into your router.
to get into router if you dont know how
start - run - cmd
type in ipconfig
where it says default gateway wrie that number down
now go to internet explorer and where u put the internet address type in the number
it will take u to your router
if it asks for username it should be admin
password either admin or password

Hey I found out what the problem is....When ever i try to get an internet connection in the "test internet connection" it comes up failed...How would i make it so i can get an internet connection.
