Hi i was wondering if nero recode is better than shrink, seeing how it doest get updated. Also people tell me to stay at 6.6.1.8 for nero so does that mean i shoudnt update nero too, so as a result recode does not get updated as well?
thanks for the help, i was jsut wondering if you want to take something out using Nero why do you have to replace it with a BMP file, why cant youjsut delete it like in CloneDVD. Wouldnt the bmp file still take up space?
I got this from a guide on Nero recode
"If you decide that twenty previews are a waste of disk space, highlight the preview section and disable it (RED button). You must then browse your computer to locate a BMP file that will replace these items. Other replacements are possible but a BMP is readily available and quick."
I have never used CloneDVD, so i am not familiar with it.
If you want to use Recode and get rid of the previews, and you replace them with still images- the space used will be very small, not even worth worrying about. I am assuming that you want to get rid of the previews and keep the extras? Otherwise, just do Main Movie only!
You can also use VobBlanker before you use Recode, and blank everything you want, previews, warnings, extra features...
Thanks again for the help, i just have one last question. If i insert a image where previews were for exanple, durring playback, lets say the previews last for 10 minutes long, would the image be there for ten minutes as well?
