I got a little problem that hopefully one of you know how to fix. You know generally when you open a Folder in Windows, it'll open to that Folder, but I for some reason, everytime I try to open a Folder (double clicking) it'll open a Search window. I think I must've changed the default action to Search when I was changing the Folder's icon in the Folder Options. By right clicking on any Folder, I see Search in bold, which must mean it's the default action instead of Open. So I'm wondering how the hell do I change it back to Open? Can someone help me out. I've tried restoring the Folders Default settings but with no luck.

When you right click that folder, what is your first option at the top of the right click menu list? It's been forever and a day since remembering how to manipulate the right click menu...but your answer lies there. If the folder is not expanded, the first option should be Expand...when it's opened, the first option should be Collapse.

When I right click the first option is Search...(in bold), I'm pretty sure it used to be Open. Others type of folders such has harddrives, partitions opened just fine with a double click, only the types of folders classified as File Folder open to a new Search window.

EDIT***
Someone has helped me to a solution already. Which is to tweak the registry, going to Classes_Root -> Directory -> shell and editing the Default value to "none". Thanks for your input though.
