i just bought a dvd-/+ rw and i wanna burn a movie but when i tried to burn this movie on a normal cd it wasnt working well , but when iplay that movie on my computer(mpeg) it works very well but when i put it on a cd it doesnt work well at all is there any chance to have a problem with my dvd cd?

I'm a bit confused by your question but here goes I assume you are trying to make a dvd first of all you need to use a blank DVD-R or DVD+R not a cd-r second you need to encode your mpeg to a dvd compliant format
nero vision will do that for you if you have it just select make dvd if you dont have Nero vision and dont wish to buy it then freeware is available
for freeware

load your mpeg into here

Old Freeware Version Of Divxtodvd
http://freedownload.softonic.de/windows/vsoDivxToDVD_setup_0.52.99.exe
if you like it you can buy the new updated version from VSO

convert the resulting files into an iso with dvd shrink
and burn the iso with DVD Decrypter or Nero express
