Sorry if this is a úber duplicated thread, but ive recently aqquired an xbox, and wanna get it modded. Now first is there any kind of swap magic way or does it have to be a chip?
and could someone tell me what chip is the best, were to buy it and how to install it?!?

i understand what to do, but will this softmod thing be on all the time then and play backup games?
or will you have to do it everytime like swap magic? cause that could be annoying

After you are done with this softmod, you can play backup games any time without doing anything else.

you only need one game, AR and AR USB adapter. Whatever the tutor asks. That is what you need.

I think it said AR as memory card.

Is there any difference in the softmods as opposed to the chips? I mean i know that you don't have to open up the xbox, and that the softmod stays on. But performancewise, do they work about the same? Is there something the chip can do that the softmod can't?

with modchip you can fix all kind of problems for xbox easily. Upgrade hdd, format are every easy. Plus mod bios that softmod can't do. Softmod is harder. If you accidently format hdd, you will need a modchip.

xecuter 3 is a good modchip any site you uy it from should have a option to buy a soderless adpter you can buy my favorite place to buy all my modchip needs is (modchipstore.com)

Thanks for the info, I think i will go for the mod chip then. Will definetly check out that link above.
Also kinda off topic, but i added a picture using the [img] ubb codes like html tags. Just use the URL of your pic. I don't know if you need those open and close tags, but that's how i did it since you can't use html.
