It's being released in either single or two disc. I think the two disc is like 30 bucks.

As already mentioned in other threads, I'm gonna use DL discs for this.

Did you make sure the other language options you wanted were selected during the encode and playing?

Then there's a conspiracy in your PC. Hit it with a big hammer and all your problems will be removed. On a serious note, I suspect it's something in the way you did it. Others are doing the same release and you're the only one I've noticed with this problem. If the original has English, you should be getting it on the backup unless something is done manually to remove it.

To successfully rip and backup "KING KONG or any new released movie(s)," all you ever needed is the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter (FREE) + VobBlanker (FREE), and then use whatever your desire transcoders or encoders afterward.

To make a long story short, here's how to do it:

(1) rip the movie(any movies) with the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter into your hard drive, wait until it's successfully completed (this usually takes like 12 - 15 minutes only).

(2) open up VobBlanker and follow the below steps:

(A) INPUT = load your already ripped VIDEO_TS.IFO from hard drive
(B) OUTPUT = make a new VIDEO_TS folder in your hard drive or if you have 2 hard drives, then set the new OUTPUT into a different destination aka hard drive (this will process faster like 5 minutes only)
(C) click "PROC.ALL" at the RIGHT
(D) click "PROCESS" at the bottom

That's it... easy as sippin' on some Heineken. Now just sit tight and wait until VobBlanker is completed, then load/import your newly created VIDEO_TS file/folder that VobBlanker created into DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 or DVD-RB Pro + CCE and perform your usual "transcoding/encoding" process. And of course, the rest is history.

Best of lucks to all and happy burning!

That's a sure shot method okay. But not all the new releases need processing for compliance. Easy ones like King Kong can be done with older software. DVD Shrink alone will work with King Kong. Also the updated decryption software handles it as well for most transcoders. My advice is to keep the software updated and use as it normally is. Then if a person runs into a problem, go with the extended processing.

@brobear

Yep, for sure KING KONG is an easy one (piece of cake). I just want to throw in a FREE guide (a very basic guide) for newbies or those that needed helps/interested only.

The only 2 main reasons that I like to post process my VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker is because:

(1) I want to blank out FBI Warnings, trailers/previews, etc.
(2) to correct/fix any left over "invalid structures, fake cells, fake pgcs, invalid data navigation, etc." plus it's for security purpose. I guess afterall, I'm a "VobBlanker-addict", LOL.

Cheers mate -- you're doing a great job helping others (noob and those needed helps). It's good that Afterdawn still has tons of experienced members around and that is "what" making this site a wonderful place, or perhaps called it "civilized".

Thanks for the praises, but I've been called uncivilized and that was the nicer part. ;) You're also doing a lot to help with the guides and posts in the help threads. I suppose you need to make methods bulletproof so they not only do the release in question but other more difficult ones. I don't blame you for wanting to get rid of a bunch of PUOs, warnings and trailers. I've gotten used to the software doing it for me, I sometimes neglect to mention that to novices unless they ask. If they used DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD, they'd quickly see it though. I just set the options and have the release come up at the title menu. There I can adjust settings or jump directly into the movie.
