Question about re-burning PS2 disc/game... HELP!!!

I used to have some PS/PS2 games that I burned on a so so media disc and I was wondering would re-burning them on a better disc media (Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden..etc) help in any ways ? Would PS2 laser read them better after re-burning them ? thanks.

that all dependes on the quality of the burn.
Just because your PS2 has trouble reading it and you get audio/video problems, does not mean that you got a bad burn.
I have had discs that were a bit glitchy that i just re-copied to a better quality disc and they worked fine.
There is not real way to tell other than to just do it because it is virtually impossible to tell if it was a bad burn or just media the PS2 didn't like.
